Alumni Association

The alumni association of any institution acts as a bridge between the past and the present.  Former students strengthen their ties with their alma mater every year, reviving their college experiences. Alumni groups also share their achievements and inspire the fresh graduates for their future challenges. This is a platform where the annual gathering fosters unity and reconnects the ex-students with their alma mater, allowing them to interact with current students and open up new opportunities, thereby solidifying the bond with their juniors and the institution as a whole. Alumni are the ambassadors of the college and serve the institution in their own special ways.

C.M.P. DEGREE COLLEGE ALUMNI WELFARE ASSOCIATION

C.M.P. Degree College, Prayagraj, has a successful informal alumni association. The strong connection and network between alumni and the institute are due to the excellent relationship our faculty shares with the alumni. Many are willing to ‘give back’ to their alma mater as a sign of gratitude and affinity towards the institution by sharing the knowledge and skills they have acquired. The informal alumni association committee has been effectively transformed into a formal registered alumni association based on suggestions from alumni. C.M.P. Degree College, Prayagraj, has established a registered alumni association named C.M.P. Degree College Alumni Welfare Association with registration number ALL/01696/2023-2024 under the Act 1860 (XXI of 1860).

The main objective of the Alumni Association is:

• Develop a strong network for alumni and student progression.
• Foster a lasting sense of connection to the “Alma Mater” among the alumni through regular contact.
• Create a platform for alumni to exchange ideas on academic, cultural, and social matters by organizing and coordinating reunion activities.
• Maintain up-to-date information on all alumni.

Alumni are a vast source of expertise, offering valuable advice in their specialized fields of study. The alumni network stands as one of the foremost professional networking platforms in today’s educational institutions. College alumni mentor and support our students to enhance their competence. Our aim is to build lasting relationships with former students, creating mutual benefits.

Roles and responsibilities of the Alumni Association:

• Provide a platform for members of the Alumni Association to interact with each other, as well as with the Principal, Teachers, and current students of C.M.P. Degree College, Prayagraj, 211002.
• Disseminate knowledge and know-how for the mutual benefit of the members and the college.
• Undertake intellectual, academic, and cultural activities, improve the existing college infrastructure, and engage in social services for the benefit of the members, the college, and society.
• Organize academic events such as conferences, workshops, seminars, symposia, and lectures by distinguished personalities from various fields.
• Mobilize donations from members and others for charitable purposes to benefit citizens in the event of natural calamities like earthquakes, floods, and pandemics.
• Arrange various activities, such as get-togethers and cultural programs, for the members.
