He did M.A. in Library and Information Science from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi and M. Phil. [LIS] from Algappa University, KaraiKudi. He is pursuing Ph.D. from BHU. Mr. Singh was awarded the BHU Medal and Sri Shridasji Gold Medal. He has contributed more than 25 research articles in national and international level journals, books and conferences. He has participated in more than ten national-level workshops. He also received the Best Paper Award at an international conference. He has worked as a Professional Assistant in the Central Library of Banaras Hindu University from May 2007 to January 2018. He has more than fifteen years of experience in library automation including technical processing of documents. He has good knowledge of library automation software like NewGenLib, LibSys, and SOUL 2.0, barcode software like Bartender, and digital library & IR software like DSpace. He has working experience and specialization in Electronic Document Delivery Services, Plagiarism services, Barcode technology, mobile technology, Website designing with HTML and CSS as well as with CMS, and e-resource management.
