Dr. Madhu Pandey

Dr. Madhu Pandey did LL.B. and LL.M. from the University of Allahabad. She completed her D.Phil. under the able guidance of Professor H.N.Tiwari, Head, Department of Law, University of Allahabad. Her topic of research is –"The Development of Environmental Law in India and the Role of Judiciary".

She first served as a lecturer in law in ADC Allahabad later she was permanently selected by the UPHE commission, Allahabad and in1996 joined as lecturer in law in CMP Degree College as first lady lecturer in all the three wings-ADC, CMP and the University. Situation remained the same for fairly long time.

She discharged so many administrative functions in the department. She served as dean student welfare member, library committee. She participated in various UGC sponsored academic programsrun in the Academic Staff College of the University of Allahabad. She has written many papers which are published in many reputed journals. She has authored and edited three student edition law books on Women and Crime and Private International law. She also participated in many UGC spodored National seminars and presented papers on various topics.

Presently (w.e.f 4-12-2017), she is working as Convener of the Department of Law. She participated in the Assistant Professors selection committee as a Convener of the Department of Law. The inspecting team of the Bar Council of India, New Delhi nominate her convenor to conduct the affairs of B.A.LL.B (Hons.) five year integrated course.
