Lecture on “Understanding Suicide And Prevention At Hand ” on 10th September 2021 by Department of Psychology

NOTICE

Department of Psychology, C.M.P. Degree College is organizing a lecture on 10th of September 2021 to observe  World Suicide Prevention Day to raise awareness and remain committed to the prevention of suicides. Data shows that we need to start talking about mental health issues more. WHO has reported that around 8,00,00 people die each year, due to suicide i.e. 1 death every 40 seconds. According to the data released by the  National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB), in 2019 an average of 381 deaths by suicide was recorded daily. For every 100 suicide deaths, 70.2 were male and 29.8 females.
