Advertisement for the post of JRF
Applications are invited on a plain paper for the one position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) purely on temporary basis for a period of three years in a project titled “Investigation on nitric oxide and hydrogen sulfide crosstalk and acquisition of arsenate tolerance in rice seedlings”(File No. EMR/2017/000518) sponsored by the Science & Engineering Research Board (S.E.R.B.; A Statutory Body of the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India), New Delhi.
The tenure of the fellowship will be co-terminus with the scheme and the stipend payable will be Rs. 31, 000+ 16% HRA per month for first two years and Rs. 35, 000+ 16% HRA for the third year as per SERB rules.
Essential qualifications: The candidates must have M.Sc. in Botany/Biotechnology/Life Science (with a minimum of 55% for general and OBC, and 50% for SC and ST at PG level), and have qualified NET or GATE.
Desirable qualification: Candidate having research experience in plant molecular biology and crop stress tolerance as evidenced by published research papers will be preferred.
Age Limit: The upper age limit shall be 28 years (relaxable up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to ST/SC/PH/OBC and females).
