Reading Room
The library has three reading rooms i.e. One for teachers and other for students.

Instructions for Use of Reading Rooms:
- Every user is required to sign in Visiting Register and to do barcode verification at the time of check in and check out.
- Pin drop silence and peace is supposed to be observed in the Reading Rooms. Conversation and discussion disturb library ambiance. Therefore, all are requested to maintain dignified silence.
- Use of mobile phone and campus wifi access is permitted only for eductional and research purpose.
- Use of smoking, refreshment, or food items of any kind inside the library is not allowed and strictly prohibited.
- The library will not hold any responsibility for any loss or damage to the personal belongings of the users.
- Before leaving the library, readers shall return all the books/magazines/newspapers taken for casual reading back to the assistant at the issue counter.
Plagiarism Detection Service
The college has access to DrillBit, a plagiarism detection software, to provide similarity check facility in the academic output (theses, dissertations, research papers, project reports, books, book chapters etc.) of the faculties, research scholars and PG students of the college.
Instructions:
- It is advised to faculties to send their document (research paper, book, book chapter, thesis etc.) whenever it is on its final stage.
- Only the chapters/topics including Introduction to Conclusion will be sent to check. Please avoid to include affiliation details, references, prefaces, certificates, questionnaires etc. for plagiarism check. These will raise the percentage of plagiarism in the report.
- Document can be in following file format .doc, .docx, .pdf, and .rtf.
- Document written in Hind and Sanskrit language should be in Unicode flie formats such as: Mangal, Arial Unicode MS, Aparajita, Kokila etc.
- Please rename the filename of your manuscript as: Name of Supervisor_ Name of Research Scholar_ Language of Document_Deptt._ Current Session_ Type of Document ( Research Paper, Thesis, Book Chapter etc.)_ Title of Document

- Author's name and title of document must be in Full and accurate. Any mistakes in author names and document title cannot be corrected after the report has been prepared.
- It is also advised to include author's name and title of document in the e-mail.
- E-mail your renamed document which includes introduction to conclusion on plagiarism.cmpdc@gmail.com
- Only faculty members / supervisors are allowed to send the manuscripts to check. Any request made by research scholars and PG students in this regard will not be entertained.
- Any document will be checked only once.
- Institutional Academic Integrity Panel (IAIP) for complain regarding plagiarism issues.
Current Awareness Service
Central library provides CAS service online through its website and WEBOPAC by generting a real time "New Arrivals" list.
Inter Library Loan Service
The main library of the college has subscription of Developing Library Network (DELNET) and NLIST through which electronic document delivery service/ Inter Library Loan service is being provided to the users. Please login to avail the service.

Photocopying Facility
On-Demand Photocopying service is available in the central library for fair use only. This service is extended to all members of the library. A member can take photocopies of maximum 20 page of a document per day without any fee. To avail this services the user will have to bring A4 size paper himself.
Internet Facility
The college has leased line internet connectivity along with the campus wide wi-Fi network facility. All the departments of the college are being internally connected through intranet. IP based access to e-resources is provided in the campus wide network. Central Library and Law Library provides free wifi connectivity with following instructiions:
Rules for Internet Access:
- The internet facility is restricted to education purpose only.
- ·Heavy downloading of e-resources by use of robots or any technique is strictly prohibited.
- Reader failing to comply with these rules may be deprived from the library services.
- Visitors and guests are strictly prohibited to use this service.
- Access allowed to use NLIST, DELNET, MANUPATRA, AIRONLINE, and Open Access Educational Resources only.
News Clipping Service
Library has started news clipping service for the college related news since 2021-22 session.
